Elder Scrolls Online: Visit the Cutest Custodians of the Dragonguard at Khenarthi's Breath Temple
Entering Khenarthi's Breath Temple seems like just another quest objective in the main story for Southern Elsweyr, but passing through the front gates will take your breath away.
The Temple is just south of Black Heights, a quest hub in the north of Southern Elsweyr. The Temple is not marked on the map by a Location pin and just going there feels like joining a secret society of Alfiq! In order to enter the Temple you don't have to be on any quest, but in order to meet Clan Mother Tadali you must be on the quest Uneasy Alliances, the third quest in the main story of Southern Elsweyr.
Alfiq are a unique type of NPC Khajiit who choose magic and trickery to get by in the world.
Khajiit are a race of cat-like bipedals you can choose to play in ESO.
By the Moons, Clan Mother Tadali compels you to the Temple!
There are so many reasons to do this quest chain. Hats. Costumes. Pets. THE HOUSE UNLOCK. But quite honestly best of all is an entire Temple staffed by a Clergy of tiny, kitten pawed Alfiq. I've counted eleven cloth adorned, spell casting, paw licking, fluffy tailed cuties, including the gate sentry Zarkier and a roving patrol cat Savfer out front. They all have names, they all do unique actions, and one of them even runs around the Temple grounds then takes a little rest on a meditation circle. The bonus part is, even when you finish the quest they all remain there. Clan Mother Tadali begs of you to visit the Temple toot sweet!
She will sing to you. She will ring bells for you. She will make you do silly puzzles! There's also three readable books and a museum piece to collect in the temple. You will want to visit the Temple after work, on weekends, holidays, and hey - you may even wish to take home a Crafty Alfiq of your own.
These cats are so cute! One even races around the courtyard!
